Color Renditions
The color chart series below was shot with a Canon 50D. White balance was set to sunlight and the shot was taken in December at about 11:00am in the morning on a sunny Southern California day. The exposure was 1/640 sec at F8 and ISO 200. The slight differences in density between these images are due entirely to each RAW converter's choice of default tone curve. These images were converted from RAW to TIFF aRGB and then converted JPEG in sRGB for web presentation. They were color picked in Photoshop CS4 as TIFF aRGB files with a 30X30 pixel sample for the color numbers shown in the mid gray color patch in each image. |
